The online publication named her for the second session in a row, noting her work in passing the Senate budget this week by a vote of 31-0. "A vote unanimously passing the budget has not happened in the Texas Senate since 2005," the publication wrote. Senator Nelson was previously named Senate MVP for the 84th Legislative Session and she has appeared on three of the previous five Capitol Inside "All-Pro" teams with honorable mentions.
